Queens of the Stone Age: If Only
Here's a joke I made on Facebook last week that didn't get any traction at all: "That Bonnie Vair lady has such an alluring voice, I want to say 'Hubba hubba!' but I can't find a picture of her on the internet. I bet she has a beard or something." Josh Homme is about as far as I can go with the male falsetto.

Queens of the Stone Age: I'm Designer
I saw a documentary once where Josh Homme was talking to Dave Grohl about how he wanted the drums to sound on a song they were working on together. “Make it like you’re a robot with broken arms!” Then he did some funny arm motions. It feels like that concept has been expanded to this entire song. Some of my favorite QOTSA lyricism in this song.

Queens of the Stone Age: 3's and 7's
This video is awesome, but I don't find that it fits into the aesthetic of the Era Vulgaris album. Which isn't to say that the Era Vulgaris album had a distinctive aesthetic, just that compared to the spooky forest of Lullabies to Paralyze and the black-and-red semen of Songs for the Deaf...
