Local H: Bound for the Floor

The 90s were never the same after this song came out. It assassinated a decade four years early. I don’t even know what that means. I’m just spouting blogger nonsense. I think I’m aiming for something along the lines of how this song was the high-water mark of a quality song that could be played on the radio. For a one hit wonder, Local H has been amazingly prolific and productive, and their albums have remained remarkably quality.

Local H: Everyone Alive

I think Local H is underestimated as a band that has consistently put out strong efforts time and time again, each of them rocking as hard as the last. Plus, they've been around for long enough to ascertain the fact that they're aging really well. It has made constant sense to play them directly next to The Toadies over dozens and dozens of mixes.

Local H: "Cha!" Said the Kitty

My memory is bad so I'll probably tell this story a lot of times. The only time I saw Local H happened to be at a time in my life where I was starting to realize that going to a lot of live shows was beginning to affect my hearing. Local H was loud as fuck, so I decided to give it a shot. I put the earplugs in and then some guy a few feet behind me shouted "EARPLUGS ARE FOR PUSSIES!" and I thought, yeah, they kind of look like it, and I've never worn them again, and my ears ring for at least a day after every show.
