The Gories: I Think I've Had It
I find it interesting that when an infant on the subway begins to shriek, no matter how high the volume and pitch of the wail a full 33% of females aged 25-33 will become hypnotized by the sound and start to grin like it's the nicest sound they've ever heard. Everybody else curdles on the inside and makes nasty faces at the fat guy with the nice watch who smells like he hasn't washed his shirt since May.

I want you to know that I appreciate that you didn't say 100% of females. Because sometimes shrieking is shrieking and it's just obnoxious. Unless it's Suri Cruise, I think. Because that kid can do no wrong. Unless she grows up to believe her father is sane ...
